With the way Diablo 3's gameplay was translated from emily's blog

While playing the game I was drawn by Diablo 4 Gold story as well as how it was played. This isn't the same as what I experienced in Diablo 3 where it was the gameplay which kept me coming back however the story was swiftly forgotten. Add that to an open world, I was even more eager to explore, while also imagining how I can build my Barbarian. It's the mix of gameplay and story that made the game I played of Diablo 4 so interesting and is sure to be so for fans when it comes out.

In spite of where Diablo 4 players come from or what their platform of choice has been, Blizzard have announced via an announcement that the next installment in the franchise will feature multi-platform play and will not have a restriction on region, allowing players to play in a group without restriction. Although Diablo 3 was one of the best-selling PC games of 2012, it was not until the Ultimate Evil Edition came out for PS4 and Xbox One, it significantly changed the way the game was played by its players. The Ultimate Evil Edition was the initial Blizzard release for consoles in the company's modern era, and set the scene in the direction of Overwatch, Diablo 2: Resurrected, and now Diablo 4 to follow.

With the way Diablo 3's gameplay was translated to consoles, players should be expecting the same level of quality from Diablo 4. This sequel is a return to the aspects that is what made Diablo so loved at the time, while still embracing the aspects of Diablo 3 that were generally considered to be top-quality. But, it doesn't say that Diablo IV Gold is just the totality of the franchise's greatest aspects - it's also introducing an open world to Diablo and a level of customization that is as exciting for players as it is a challenge for the game's developers.
