Blizzard’s latest update for Diablo 4 addresses a frustrating issue where item drops, particularly from treasure goblins, were disappearing. This hotfix is timely as it comes amidst the ongoing March of the Goblins event, which has heightened the visibility of this problem. Here’s a summary of the changes and what players can expect:
Key Changes to Treasure Goblins:
Loot Quality Adjustments:
Rare and Magic Items: These will no longer drop in World Tiers 3 and 4. Previously, players had a 50/50 chance of buy Diablo IV Items getting one legendary item or two rare items. Now, there’s a 50% chance of receiving a legendary item from goblins.
Consolidation of Drops: Gold and boss summoning materials are now consolidated into fewer piles. While the total number of items dropped remains the same, the drops will be more consistent in quality.
