EA has a focus on crossover content instead of fixing other issues with the game from Skyzhay's blog

At the time of last year's crossover Mut 22 coins players had the chance to visit the location of a fictional SpongeBob in The Yard. When they completed challenges, players could earn exclusive gear inspired by the show. Additionally, there were new modes for the game which included The Flying Dutchman's Ghostly Grab, Sandy's Rocket Arm Rally as well as The Goo Lagoon Bowl. It's safe to say that the next year's event will feature something similar, however, it's not easy to determine how different the theme will be. We could see the previous year's themes slightly modified to reflect different features, or discover new styles altogether. Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell for sure.

Some Madden fans have already voiced displeasure that EA has a focus on crossover content instead of fixing other issues with the game. The crossover will not solve the issues that players are facing for Madden NFL 22, but we're hoping it'll prove to be a great alternative, no matter! Nickelodeon as well as the NFL have taken a lot of strides to get kids engaged in the sport of football. This could be an additional avenue for younger fans.
