"For such reasons, it is important to remain prudent," he said. "However our focus and methodical approach to our company has proven to be successful in the past, and with continued investment and carefully managing our costs we are confident of offering value to shareholders in the long run, just as we have done over the past 20 years."Activision is currently holding an after-earnings call for financials.

In order to handle the large number of players that might want to try this WoW Classic demonstration, Blizzard has implemented a 60-minute playtime limit. The developer posted on the World of Warcraft blog that in the near future, the game's developer will start testing a feature that will give players the option to purchase an automatic upgrade of their character to level 90.
