As it usually does each month Sony released the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store for September 2022. The list reveals the most played PS4, PS5, PS VR and free-toplay games of the month in both North America and Europe, and there's not much to be found this month.
Starting in the form of FIFA 23 Coins PS5 game titles NBA 2K23 was the most-downloaded game on the PSN this month in North America, while FIFA 23 was the top video game on the PSN in Europe (which should come as no surprise given how popular football is in Europe). Another release from September, The Last of Us Part 1 was ranked third in both regions.
The switch to PS4, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game in the month, in both the US and Canada, while FIFA 23 was the highest place in Europe. Regarding PSVR Games, Beat Saber was the number. first game both in North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR placing second and third in both regions.
In terms of free-to-play games for PS5 and PS4 in combination, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada in addition to Rumbleverse was the most played free-to-play title in Europe.
