RuneScape - Everyone has their own favorite game from MMOgrfy's blog

In the last four years, I played for RuneScape gold at least four hours each day. This was my greatest ever experience in life. My family, friends and the ability to play for fun were the best things to happen in my life. The news has left me feeling more depressed than I've ever been and I just regret for them to have done this. What can I do? Should I forget all the good memories that I have? Should I return to RS 07

Alot of this is subjective, anyone who has played Runescape in any of its versions at any point along the way can ever truly recreate that 1st thrill/flush of playing a new game or the content they had been anticipating.

Everyone has their own favorite game or stage of development, if 07scape is what you'd like to play more than current version so be it. Many felt the exact way. Although there are players playing on the servers, the initial excitement of "OMG I'm missing this greatly!" was quickly overtaken by a lot of gamers. In many instances, the engine may have been the older one, but the community and mindset of players have changed irrevocably.

Although there are some aspects that have been changed or lost with RS2 & EOC irrevocably, there were many positive additions or improvements. Personally, I find the graphics in 07 to be depressing. They were however reasonable for the time. Everyone has to decide if we'd like to keep enjoying the games that we enjoy or prefer to watch the game grow.
